1967 Buick GS LS Swap - Fast with Class

Over the years SMG Motoring has performed a number of upgrades (5 speed transmission, Moser 12 bolt rear) to this car but the car retained its original 400 cu in Buick engine. Even with the upgrades the owner looked for increased performance and reliability. With this in mind the decision was made to swap the Buick engine for a GM LS based engine.

The owner of this beautiful low mileage Corvette was looking to increase the car’s performance with the addition of a proven, reliable power adder.  He also didn’t want to heavily modify the car’s pristine engine compartment. The owner of this 1978 Z28 came to SMG Motoring looking to upgrade the car’s open differential to a posi-traction differential while keeping the existing gear ratio.

After reviewing the owners goals, SMG Motoring recommend upgrading the differential using a Yukon Gear posi-traction unit.

During the process of changing from an open differential to a posi-traction differential SMG Motoring discovered several issues with the car’s original axles, so a set of Yukon Gear axles were ordered

The owner of this Challenger has been slowly making upgrades to the car over time. SMG Motoring previously installed Wilwood brakes on the car and now the owner was looking to increase the car’s performance with the addition of a proven, reliable power adder. This truck came to SMG Motoring with a GM LS engine already installed but the owner wanted a little more power and the WOW factor of a power adder. The owner discussed his goals with SMG Motoring and the decision was made to add a ProCharger supercharger.
