Over the years SMG Motoring has performed a number of upgrades (5 speed transmission, Moser 12 bolt rear) to this car but the car retained its original 400 cu in Buick engine. Even with the upgrades the owner looked for increased performance and reliability. With this in mind the decision was made to swap the Buick engine for a GM LS based engine.

The owner of this beautiful low mileage Corvette was looking to increase the car’s performance with the addition of a proven, reliable power adder. The owner of this 1978 Z28 came to SMG Motoring looking to upgrade the car’s open differential to a posi-traction differential while keeping the existing gear ratio.
